Just a quickie, does anyone know why the Advan Clarion GT-R has 8PP less than the other GT-R's and even 5PP less than the Motul Autech which is 30kg heavier?

All cars stock, viewed in new car garage.

I can see no difference apart from the width is blank where as its 2000mm on the others, slightly narrower track maybe?

Btw its not a new thing, its been like that since PP started.

List your HP AND PP of the 3 and I will compare to mine.

Just taking the stock PP from new car garage.
Have a look, Advan has 587 others have 595 (motul 592)

Erm... read his post, he talks about the cars in completely mint condition, just like they appear at the New Car Dealership before you even buy them.

No idea why, but I also noticed that difference and was wondering why, though it never bothered me much.

The WOODONE ADVAN GT-R does'nt drive even close to the other GT-R's. Same engine, and same DF capabilities though.
So it does make sence that it's PP is lower, but what does'nt make sence is why the PP is lower @ identical aero, bhp and weight. Perhaps it got something to do with the powerband beeing different, but IIRC, it's exactly like for the other GT-R's.
But fact is, that the WOODONE does'nt handle as good as the other ones, at least pre-2,08.

Will start some testing later on today.

Cheers, it has been bugging me for ages, i thought it would just be something obvious that i missed but.... Its a mystery.

Anyone come up with an answer/theory?
Its really bugging me, it may have something to do with width and in turn that probably equals slightly less aero efficiency?

Tires are supposed to be excluded from the power points equation since 4-5 updates before

Could be, but im not convinced, some of the lexus and NSX GT cars have different tyres and it doesn't make a difference there.

Edit: The difference between the Lexus can be explained by different width bodies, although the Direzza with the lowest PP is wider and sports the same tyres as the highest PP Denso/Petronas cars, confusing!
Then there is the Eneos in the middle of the PP range that has different tyres but has same specs as the top cars.!

The NSX Epson is 6PP down on the others, yes it has different tyres but it is also 50kg heavier!
I just added 50kg to Raybrigg NSX and it does indeed bring it to the same PP as the EPSON so that explains the difference.

Still no answer!

But.... Then again, the Advan Clarion GT-R is unique in being the only car in the game on the Advan tyres so it is a possibility.

Different tire manufactors logos on the tires are only for commercial value imo.
There's no Pirelli, Bridgestone, Yokohama compounds in the game. RH's are RH's no matter what.

But I still don't have a clue why the PP is different.
Either PD simulates bodywork aero (not to be mixed up with the adjustable wings), and the WOODONE GT-R come up short there.. Or, mechanical grip is programmed somehow.
It's not unlikely that's the case when it comes to the GT500 cars since PD and SGT are based in Japan, and from what I've heard/read they have good connection.

But then again, if PD and SGT have that kind of special connection, why would'nt they simulate the tires if they could.. Or, the track was wet when they did all the testing. 💡 ;)

The pp system does sometimes vary depending on the weight balance, are they both the same? If not 50-50 them.
