GT5P chinese version

Hi all, was just wondering why my version of GT5P is still in spec II whereas many of you here are in spec III already. My GT5P lacks the drifting event. I updated mine thru the internet. Any kind soul care to explain/ share, especially those having this version. Tks!!
 
The drift events are in the game, from spec I. they are in the arcade mode. you have single race, TT, and drift mode from left to right.

I cant emagine why your game wont update from spec 2?

Can you tell me if you go into car dealers. do you have the Citreon Concept Car, the Ferrari California, and the Lotus Evora.
 
nope i do not have. thats why i find it weirdd. and im afraid if i download spec III from some other website, it might clash the game? It should update though, i dun find a reason why it isnt cos the disc was bought from SONY Singapore and i have a stable internet connection.
 
So their is definatly no Drift mode then?

Aparently Drift mode comes into it with spec 2. so I was wrong about it being their at the start, but it has been a wile.lol. So if you dont have drift mode then you dont even have spec II. are you definatly sighned into playstation network?

And the game does not tell you their is an update when you load it up?

And are you using a chinese account. or are you on an english one?
 
yeah i signed into playstation network, i wanted the english version, budden i din not notice that it was a chinese version. Im able to play with people from different country online tho. gotta check on the drift mode, not very sure but i dun it is in.

Right now I am confused. U must have spec III or it wont alow you to race online, as the phisics changed.
 
Ok, now i confirmed that i have the drift mode. i can play online. But still , it shows spec II and there isnt the updated cars like Citreon Concept Car, the Ferrari California, and the Lotus Evora.
