GT5P Online Update

Hey, iv had prologue for almost 3 months now and I have been trying to do the online update since. I have tried to do the update probably at least 10-30 times a week and have tried going through the news, gttv, online sections on the menu and it still hasnt worked. My flatmate who got the game on the release date along with me was able to do the update on his 3rd attempt. Im losing patience with the game which I dont want to do, all I wanna do is be able to play it online. Has anyone got any ways which will help me do the update. Cheers
 
Its proberly your internet connection that is the problem, and not the game it self.

You could try and hook your PS3 up at your friends place and use his internet settings until you have updated the game.

Or if you can at your own place, best is to use a wired connection.
NAT 2, and UPNP enabled.
 
try to check if there is any frameware up-garde available of your rounter. If yes, up-grade it then try GT5P up-date again, it may help
