is it just me, or does the game ask a little much Price wise for tuning.. in real life, it shouldn't cost you 150grand for a honda civic to make 400hp.. and in my opinion, if you put the Price of a supercar worth in options, into a camaro.. the thing better be able to leave the atmosphere becuase thats a lot of money when you really think of it to put into a car.. And also when you really think of it, it kinda takes the whole fun out of ricers.. when you need to put that much money into them.. just to make the power a stock muscle car does.. idk, i just think the price should be less for alot of the tuning options.. OR it shold adapt to the base price of the car to dictate the price of the tuning options. I honestly dont have a big problem with it.. ive hit the 20,000,000Cr. mark long ago.. but i personally think it's slightly un-accurate..

👍 I beleive this is my 500th post by the way 👍

Happy 500th!

500k to tune a race car is a lot of wedge.... and that's just the engine. Then another 500k for the chassis... you're splashing out a cool million each time. That's more than most of the cars in the game cost!

What really bugs me is that after paying out all that money, there's nowhere in the game that the info can be stored. The mileage should reset to 0 or something. At the minute the only way to do it is write it down on a bit of paper!!

Thats what I've said before. I wish the in-game currency was more like real life. It seems like GT currency is inflated.

I've often said that :P .. it just seems like if you put that money into a car, the thing better be absolutley killer. yet in most cases they arent.

Yeah, GT5's economy is a strange one, the prices of most roadcars in the dealerships are fairly accurate (even the 20 million '67 Le Mans racers to an extend) yet I think a real NASCAR car costs significantly more in real life than 500 grand for example.
The tuning parts are very pricey for less valuable cars (you'd expect the prices to vary accordingly) and wouldn't be that bad perhaps if a tuned cars fitted with expensive parts increased in resale value, that is if a resale value is attached in the first place, I don't understand why the more expensive cars don't have any resale value at all, especially annoying since the 1 million trading cap.
But I guess it makes sense in a virtual economy which combines a capitalistic bonus system with a communist income cap (albeit a non-communist 20 million). ;)

I completely agree.

It's ridiculous that an adjustable suspension kit for a Ferrari Enzo costs the same as an adjustable kit for a Nissan Micra.
