What about Audi R8 V10? Aren't they turbo diesel?
Huh?All R8 race cars in game are described as Turbo Diesel.
Street versions have no description about it.
As far as I know in IRL the R8 have diesel versions.
I was talking about R8 car and race car (1st picture). They're diesel for sure.
The car on second picture is a R8 Prototype and it has fuel options (IRL).
Your model is FSI (Fuel Stratified Injection)
Below is TDI (Turbo Diesel Injection)
PS.: In GT6 the R8 Prototype has no info about its fuel.

Actually its powered by the engine from an M48 patton tank (hence the name), which runs on gasoline. The tank car has a WWII airplane engine in it that should be running on leaded 110 avgas, not diesel.

I believe you are correct here. That's an R10. All R8 LMPs were petrol.
I'm pretty sure R8 GT cars are described as Turbo Diesel V10 "in game"The R8 GT race cars and the R8 road cars are also all petrol.
The R8 is powered by a 3.6 L Audi FSI V8. FSI stands for Fuel-Stratified Injection, which is a variation on the concept of gasoline direct injection developed by VW which maximizes both power and fuel economy at the same time. FSI technology can be found in products available to the normal public, across all brands in the Volkswagen Group.
The petrol-powered Audi R8 race car was in 2006 replaced by the new Audi R10 TDI Diesel
No, they were petrol. Your picture shows an R10, which indeed is a diesel...I was talking about R8 car and race car (1st picture). They're diesel for sure.

The R8 LMS GT3 cars are not diesels. They use the petrol V10 from the road car. 👍
Please, correct me if I'm wrong...
Audi R8 Race Cars (LMS) are described as
Turbo Diesel V10 "in game".
Audi R8 Street Cars are described as
5.2 FSI (not diesel)
When I mentioned before "They're diesel for sure" I was meaning R8 SC IRL.
Except for one showcar there is no diesel R8, neither race nor road car.

There are 5 Audi R8 LMS
2 are described as Diesel:
R8 LMS '09
Turbo Diesel V10
R8 LMS (Team Playstation) '09
Turbo Diesel V10
And also:
R10 TDI '06.
R10 TDI 'Stealth Model
R18 TDI (Joest) '11
I have a doubt:
Are the other 3 R8 LMS petrol?
With its giant air horns, the Patton sounds like a diesel train. Actually, everybody thinks it is a diesel. One hot-rod magazine ran a photo of the car with a caption that read, "Diesel!" Believe me, it has a gasoline engine. Before we modified it, the car ran just fine on regular. Now, I fill it with premium, even though we're limiting the turbos to only 6 psi of boost. We're kicking around the idea of cranking up that boost to see if we can get another couple of hundred horsepower out of it.

Edit - me too.I sit corrected
Unless it says SD4 on the back... don't think so.Isn't the Evoque a turbo diesel?
and no idea why the ingame description even mentions that
