I got my T500RS wheel yesterday. (Better than Christmas Day) After switching the pedals to top down and securing them to my Racing Rig I got behind this amazing Piece of Machinery. Some small things I will need to get used to like the Little to no Dead space (This is a good thing) and just the pressure of breaking.

My "BUT" of the Title is this:

Has anyone noticed that if you spin out or hit a wall hard that the wheel gets extremely loose and then is not on center.
- Red Stripe at 12:00 pre spin out or crash(With cars or wall)
- Red Stripe at 10:00 to 11:00 position post spin out or crash.
I thought this could be because there is damage in place in the online room I was in but then it happened without a crash and just going through grass or desert

Has anyone else noticed this. I can fix the wheel if I unplug the USB and plug it back in but this work around is not conducive of keeping up with the pack considering it takes about 15-20second to re calibrate.

Any info on this would be great I want to also post this is a Wheel Thread too but cant find one on Wheels. If anyone knows of one on GTPlanet please let me know.

Thanks so much for your input

I had a Fanatec GT3 RS V2 and Clubsport pedals and they work great with GT5 and even better now with GT6!

got the Logitech Driving force GT for GT5Prolouge. I haven't felt it necessary to upgrade to a higher end wheel. A fanatic wheel compatible with both PS3 and XBox360 would be nice so I can have a wheel for Forza, but I'am still faster then all my friends with the controller on Forza. I am a lot more serious about racing in GT so I need a wheel for my PS3.

I agree. I am using the controller for Forza Horizons and 4, but would love a wheel that works for both. As is, I have the Playseat (GT5 edition) and G27 downstairs for GT5 and GT6 on a 42 inch screen, and the xBox upstairs on a 52. But the bigger tv now has a WiiU on it and my 6 and 8 year olds are playing games on that. They are also hearing me racing and coming down and commandeering my game so they can race carts. I like them driving for sure. I miss unfettered access to my game however. lol

From the vids I've seen online, the T500RS doesn't seem to line up accurately with the actual wheel in the game very well. It seems to spin at much greater rotations and greater speeds. Even though the G25/G27 have much slower motors, they seem to mimic the steering wheel in the actual game far more closely. At least visually anyway. What you're describing could be an extension of that replication miss alignment.

Never noticed this, and the in-game wheel in cockpit view have never lined up to any wheel I've used, G25 or T500RS....
