Hello GTPlanet,
I am currently hot lapping Monaco (Côte d'azur) and I noticed a lap in the formula gran turismo was so much faster on GT5 compared to GT6 yet 6 felt a lot quicker, I was on the same tires but other settings were different like suspension, transmission, LSD and downforce but it wouldn't of made that much of a difference would it?

Times:
GT5: 1:12.789
GT6: 1:19.054

I've currently been trying to beat that time for ages, the closest car to that time is the Red Bull X2014 standard. Both FGT's are running stock settings being driven with a DFGT wheel

Uh, yes those other settings would make a difference.

Try again using the exact same specs for each game.

When GT6 first came out, I noticed that the grip levels for the tyres had increased. Specifically; CS in GT5 had the same grip as CM in GT6, & SH in GT5 had the same grip levels as CS in GT6. I had to change tyres to get the same lap ties in the same car/track combos I'd been using.

👍

Those settings make a huge difference. Also, the physics in GT6 are VERY different from GT5.
