GT6 loading issues

i just recently bought GT6 from gamestop,and i have yet to see it load at all. the disc is in mint condition

with no scratches,can anyone offer me any suggestions i really want to play but the ps3 bios doesn't see the disc under the game menu.

Other games / discs load ?

If it doesn't show only a GT6 disc, then it is faulty disc , if it doesn't read any disc ,then it is a faulty drive.

add.You can always try to do automaintenance/cleaning> unplug PS3 , then press eject button (and keep it pressed) , plug PS3 back while pressing eject button , you'll hear fan turn on and three beeps (no need to press eject anymore) , fan will go through few stages (about 20 seconds) then it will turn off. Unplug PS3 and plug it back.

I think that's just a fan check/emergency disc release just in case anything goes wrong.
