GT6 NAME CHANGE LIMIT

Hello guys

I bought yesterday the new gt6 and i have made a huge mistake hehehe.I changed my name too many times and now i'm stuck with a name i don't like.
Is there any way to change it again one more time??Any ideas would be welcome.I REALLY don't like my name.

Umm did you read the OP? It clearly says he hit a limit; it's not letting him change it anymore.
 
How many times did you change your name to hit that limit?
 
I believe you can only change it twice after you have originally chosen your name. Unfortunately I don't think there is a way around that limit.
 
I changed my name twice after originally naming my character and hit the limit trying to change it the third time. So I reloaded a save from a few hours prior where I had never attempted to change my name and it still wouldn't let me. I think it's stored server side. ;[

Far left of the home screen, or hit the Start button on any screen that isn't during an actual race event. It's called "Options".
 
I dont' get my copy until tomorrow. What is this name for may I ask? Does it replace your PSN name for online racing?

That, I don't know. Try asking to a moderator I guess , they normally now a lot about the GT series ^-^ (and a few members which I don't know the name :() :cheers:
 
For your new name, you get an initial then a period and then whatever you pick--for example R.Brown

Create a new PSN ID account

Actually it's just the name used in single player. You can just change it 3 times. The name itself is stored in the save, it's not linked to your PSN ID since it doesn't even show up online. (It used to between 1.00 and 1.02 thanks to a bug.)

@OP: Send me your save and the name you want via Private Message, i'll change it via "uncommon" methods. :)
 
I changed my name to Slim Shady for a laugh on my old account and then I couldn't change it.
