GT6 offline replayibility

Hey guys, i've been thinking to post this in the Q&A forum, but before i'd like to see if even some of you feels the same as me while playing gt, to discuss or polish my question more.

I've been playing games for a good portion of my life, but among them i found GT to be my archetype of videogame.
Every graphical and sim aspect is so well polished that, even after beating the game, i find myself repeating some events just for the scenery or the thrill of changing car/pit stop routine.
It's a fun thing to do, but doing this without a proper mode lacks of every aspect i appraised before;
in arcade if i decide to run 37 laps on circuit of Sierra, there is no way my rivals will enter the box for a tyre change (and this could lead to a dramatic slow-mo battle for the lead,if run during rain.) nor they will
have the need to refuel.
As for last, a complete grid could make it perfect, including every car (even the newest) or even if i'd have to hadpick every competitor, altough it'd be better if divided by their corrispective league (GT1,GT3,LMP, ecc.)
Do you think it will be possibile in the near future for gt6? because without it, i'd feel as all the efforts put on gt, to give people freedom about car choice (+1000 is more than a wide range) or track options ( just think about all the tracks with peculiar condition left out) will go to waste.

Being able to select your opponents and having qualifying and/or standing starts would do wonders to improve the offline portion of the game. As it stands now, it's pretty useless unless you enjoy chasing the same hodge podge of rabbits you chased in GT5. I'm on GT6 5-6 days a weeks but it's been many months since I touched any part of the offline game options, except the new Sierra mini-games which I did for a couple hours and now they're useless too.

To my mind, offline in GT6 is very boring. A.I. that slows on last laps to let you catch up or win. No standing start only rolling. Small number of specific and interesting races (Ferrari vs Lamborgini etc). No ability to choose the opponents. In arcade while selecting 365GTB my opponents are RX7, Skylnes, NSX some Jaguars, but where are some classics cars?? No damage and tire wear. Having in mind how diversified career in Forza 4 was I even didn't bother to do it in GT6. Boredom and nothing more, total waste of potential, more than 1200 but no races and opportunity to set up an interesting race. I olny do time trials, mainly because of DFGT.

Choosing opponents I hear? Do I have the thread for you.

My signature's last link regarding custom events will be the place for Kaz to hear from us firstly (when he does). Just come and pop a like to hear from him sooner about it.

Offline/Single Player in Gran Turismo 6 is super low in terms of replayability. Older games like Gran Turismo 4 had some more replayability. Being able to get used cars, special events, etc. I know a little of it is in GT6, but I'm not feeling it. I'm going to be honest, I don't play single player events anymore. Only reason I'm in single player is to buy, customize, and test cars. Other than that, I go online.

After game completion, I still sunk hours into driving offline from GT1 though to GT4, then very little in GT5 until modders unlocked the secret menu for us, and hardly at all in GT6.

With the exception of decent AI, it's a shame that they have all the things available that we want and need to enjoy many hours worth of varied racing, yet restrict that possibility down to almost nothing. I am still dumbfounded that they had a menu in GT5 for more customized racing and blocked access to it, and even more so that they didn't learn their lesson with the next game by continuing to exclude access to the same menu that would vastly increase the game's lifespan and enjoyability.

It's like they are purposely trying to frustrate or troll their dedicated fanbase sometimes.

Tbh i've never seen a dedicated fanbase such as GT's, all we need is to be listened.

Sure, but i think we need more BASE models than actual cars to avoid clones on the grid

It toke me ages to complete gt4, there were so many events. Brand events, special events, endurance races (granted I only did them B-spec with the ps2 running at night, lol) the mission races, the countless driving school challenges, amateur, pro, expert series. You couldn't just buy all cars, you had to earn them with certain events rather than earning just the money to buy them.

Gran Turismo 6 ? I was at like 80 percent after a few days of gameplay. Pretty much every event is extremely beginners level if you've got the right car. GT4 had some hard stuff, like the Opel Speedster Challenge, wich still was pretty hard for me with a fully tuned car.

It took me years to even come close to finishing GT4. And it never really bored me.

i can't understand what happened, they increased everything except the overall gaming aspect; they went thru all the trouble of laser scan bathurst but they didn't ad either a full 24hr race or a 24 minutes one.

It's one of those games where I can just grab any car I have in my collection, and just drive it for while. And I love that. GT6 made that much easier with the almighty and glorious start button.

GT Playability for me has always been trying to tune through the car list. With 50,902.4 Miles 549.1 Driving hours, I dont know about replayability, but it sure has Playability how I do it. No other game have I got even close to 549hours, most never get past double digits. I killed a real car warranty.

How many Miles and Hour Driving in GT have you built up?

17.170 km as overall and 120 hours.
maybe it's not much but try to understand my point; a lot of possibilities but everything is left to a not so good online mode, GT must keep up with the competitors (pcars, autoclub, forza, nfs) if not with online mode, with a rock-solid offline.
i'd try the nurburgring 24hrs with every car and every class; apply this to every track and you get an endless ton of fun.

I find it high when I have time to play. Having Mount Panorama in the game for this Bathurst 1000 weekend, does wonders.

The class specific race cars in GT6, are much better than in GT5. Seeing a 1960's race car in a grid of newer race cars was doing me in.
Downside is creating all your road cars with numbers and not having any AI created to suite.

Career mode is drab until S Class, it has some fun races. I understand your point, try to understand mine. I dont and have never cared for long boring Career modes, I can usually set up a more fun race in Arcade with my tuned up monsters. (A Little Trick, Enter arcade race with max PP on SS tires, then drop down to what you want to run, it speeds up the Ai cars, and the trick works vise verse, enter with a totally stock car, then in car settings raise up the power and the cars are all slower.) Getting them a bit faster is funner though lol

I just have always used GT for tuning cars, running TT, Stock Lap time runs, and just plain messing around since GT1, and GT has always provided me the exact environment I like to do this. Ive never found any of GT a challenge aside from DM34 or something like that in GT4, but it was more the waiting for the other car to leave just sitting on the line that was a Pita, and while it was a challenge at first, I ended up killing it anytime I went back for a re-run., it only took a few hours to get it the first time.

The Playability is measured by How Much You Play the game, and Mine is SUPER high (500hours) compared to any other game, and I would be surprised If Im even close to having the most drive time and miles on my ODO, Doubt it. So for many getting HUNDREDS of play hours out of GT6 it has a HUGE amount of "Playability", Since Ive beaten all of Career mode around 100hours, would that mean Ive got 400hours of replayability?

i understand this aspect of the subject, but i still think that the career could have been improved a little.
Like, randomizing the weather of every race or else

GT6 offline replayability is exactly:
zero.jpg

I could not even finish the game once. The same as for GT5. Mainly because the system is more or less the same from GT2 until today and the mighty slow AI. Also many racing events filled with cars from different classes and/or VERY different times, which i absolutely HATE.
