Gt6 problem being locked out of career mode

Hello really could use some help. Today we were able to do the new update to GT6 but it appears I am locked out of career mode international races? When I go to race, a film of a driver with credits rolling comes on and is continuos any suggestions?

It's the game credits...think it's a full nurburgring lap so it takes a bit. When they run out of names it'll be done.
