I think that might be it for me at Yaz cause...I cannot take the combination of "Surprise Understeer!" with track limits that don't actually seem to align with reality.

Finally was able to drop down into the 2:01s tonight with a 2:01.702 after 32 laps, with only 12 clean laps. That was my last lap and because my optimal was a .555 (only S3 was faster on another lap), I ended the session because pleaaaaase no more.

And perhaps I'm misunderstanding here...but I was pretty sure the penalty occurs after your tire fully passes the inside edge of the white line?

I captured these right as the lap went red on two different laps (going frame by frame...well, what it considers frame by frame in the replay):

Sure looks like I've not left the white line?

After a few days of Super License Master tests (Spa was un-fun last night - I love a car that won't turn...except sometimes when it does!), back at Barcelona to try and get some time out of the U9 (I do not think I can improve on the F50, so it's best for my sanity...and sleep...just to leave that where it is - won't be surprised if my position creeps just over 200, since I'm in the mid-high 190s right now, but that's fine).

My optimum this session was a 1:46.618, but I managed a 1:46.779, so that's an improvement - but it's bonkers that it, only 1.05% off (and less than a second slower) the top time, is still only good enough for 335th - must be a lot of people running this one!!

Still, I'll post my replay in the event anyone sees any glaring issues for me to work on improving.

Not sure why, but I was a little twitchy towards the end of this session. My legs are still worn out from mowing the (very long) lawn a couple days ago, and I suppose my arms are too. Who knows!

I bet that we get Laguna Seca as it was paused for some time and IMSA is there right now... That wouldn't be a good news for me thought... 😝

Respect to all you guys getting sub 2:01s, insane effort.

Couldn't quite get there myself. Took 100km to get to a .5 and then another 300km to get a .1, most of which was spent making minimal improvements.

F50 is a lovely car to listen to, handling could be better, although you could get some really nice power slides around T8 if you got on the throttle at the right time. Also has an inbuilt relaxer when you switch the cockpit cam and get to listen to that V12 from inside, incredible sound and an easy way to forget you invalidated the last 5 laps in a row.

Although I find some of the track limits a bit lax at other tracks, this took it a bit too far the other way. There were times where it felt like I still had 2 wheels inside the kerb and it would invalidate the time, particularly for a track with such giant kerbs. The lap listing definitely had more than its fair share of showing red.

Onto the U9, which I've had a test drive and feels quite nice to drive, but still lacking that engagement from an engine so don't know how much time I'll put into this one.

I mean, why not, when was the last time we had a wet TT? Group 3 at Red Bull Ring almost 2 years ago? And that one was absolutely amazing. Was there another after that?
Yeah went flying with the Ferrari on the Ring back then, kind of sketchy but was fun, we also had Fuji in the WRX.
Would be nice if PD implemented some rain more often i am not particulair good at it, but makes it way more fun

Yup, just found my lap, and I remember it was a blast  The little celebration after crossing the line was I think because I was very much chasing those 36s and got like P35 in the end, which was my best result to date :)

Beautiful lap in VR, how does that winning 360 feel in VR?

Maybe I'm crazy but, weren't we, you know, just at Trial Mountain?

Oh, wait, it was Reverse - totally different track, and it was cloudier - not at all the same visuals or anything.

I don't mind the track, and I think I prefer the regular way around (except for ruining my lap via the chicane directly at the end), but like...come on guys.

Happy with this lap, trying for more and the TT quickly becomes a 'hit and miss' affair, aka restart button Central.

Weak ABS evoked.

Gr.3 is not something I enjoy, cars are too fast, so I'll see y'all in a week ✋️

I normally don't post my times on this thread but I'm happy that I'm able to do a 1:53 with something different other than the usual Gr.3 cars that rule the leaderboards.

Might go for a sub 1:53 if I can just get the right lines with the NSX GT500 '00.

Both the new Ferrari 296 and the Nissan GT-R 2018 failed me, so I changed to the Lamborghini Huracan and did 1:55.628 :), hopefully it will hold for silver.

Another one bites the dust, I knew I had some energy in me for the Mountain, took me a few tries but good nonetheless!!
