About the older TT, my feedback for those ones are still trying to get gold:

Gr3 + Suzuka - O enjoy a lot that combo because Suzuka is always good to drive. But the main discussion here is how Genesis is very OP comparable to other cars. I did fisrt TT using Lexus RC-F and got several laps to improve until reach the current time. After that, I got Genesis and needed only to laps with some mistakes to reach the same time from Lexus. After that, I did some other laps and got an insane 0,6 s of gap! I believe Poliphony soon update the BoP because this car is a level above from others. The current Daily shows the same. I used Lexus and Genesis is too much OP.





 
Got a good enough lap in in the end when there was just roughly two hours left, a proper sleep sacrificed and hands in pain. Maaaaan that took forever. Usually in those instances I would give up, in fact I wasn’t far off from doing that but kept going as long as I did because I actually really liked this Honda. It was sitting at 60 kms before this TT and I ended at just above 1,000... :embarrassed:

I had a very vague memory from a couple years back that it wasn’t bad for being a VGT and hey, it rang true. Very solid, fun and balanced car to drive and throw around. Not too fast so it becomes a stupid chore to drive but really performed very nicely. Cool looking interior as well (and exterior). The one thing I don’t care for and should be amended were it to ever come to any type of production are the wheels. Not a fan of how they look, and in particular how wide out on the side they go, to the point you even see them from the chase camera. Hard no right there.

As a track to race on I think Laguna Seca can be pretty fun but damn it is a seriously tough TT track, one of the most difficult if we’re being honest here. The laps are really short but full of pretty difficult corners everywhere. Delta-wise it is quite brutal. Props to Damian on an insane lap... 77th position while an entire 1,00% off tells a certain story.

The final sector as well as the corkscrew (or Zanardi Corkscrew as it shall henceforth be known as, RIP Alex) proved to be my weak point. I mean, T6 as well (before the Rahal Straight, I wanna call that T5 because I struggle to see the official T1 as a corner), that is where 98% of the laps fail. Barely ever get to drive S3, kinda explains why I’m so poor there I suppose. Well not entirely but in part... I just never really connected to to those final corners. I try but not a fan..

Anyway, all in all despite my struggles at Laguna I’m still giving the TT as a whole thumbs up because the car was that good.
