Has anyone else noticed how pointless the AIs fuel strategies are in the powerpack endurance races? I noticed it a bit in the shorter endurance races but I'm now doing the 24hrs at le mans, 19 hours in to it and the AI competition are pitting nearly every lap and only filling up to 9 or 10%, with 1 lap taking 5 to 6% fuel to complete then having to pit again.whats the point? Most people who've paid out the additional £25 for the powerpack have done so because they're looking for more of a challenge than the original game offered them, only to be met with a walkover in terms of competition. This needs fixing, NOW. plus an additional update to powerpack with more events, not enough of a challenge or content to warrant the price in my opinion.

Have you used the shut down/resume function? This is a known issue with it. If you don't use it, the AI should pit normally.

Yes, shut down to save game as 24hrs nonstop seems a bit too much with memories of the 24hr races on gt4. Sorry didn't realise it was a known issue, I'd tried a search on the topic and found nothing.

How do you use the shut down function? I couldn't find it
I am wondering the same thing. I am just now getting to the 24 hour races in the Power Pack and wondering how this is going to work. It will probably take me a week to complete a 24 hour race.

You don't. It is automatic; your race progress is saved to the lap before the last complete lap when you shut down the game/console.

I ran half a dozen laps at the LeMans 24 hour race just to see what the procedure was to pause in the middle of a 24 hour race, I pressed the pause button and my options were 《continue-settings-retire》. The retire option ended the race as expected. Seems I did something wrong.

Yes, virtually everything.

As I said, it is not something you can manually do, or select. It is an entirely automatic process which occurs when you shut down the game or console (or, and I suspect this being the intended purpose, they are shut down for you as in a software/hardware crash, or power cut).

If you'd gone into the console's "Welcome Hub" and shut down the game, or powered off the console, you'd have the option to resume the race when you next entered the Power Pack and selected the race.

Thank you, I will try it again, I'm sure I will be back with questions
