Hi,

Probably just a place holder, but hey... you never know!

We definitely know it's not real. Why would any major AAA game release after such a huge holiday.

Please use your best *sarcastic accent" when revealing this release date to friends and fellow gamers! :)

I said this before and I'll say it again:

Any release date you see before it is officially announced by PD/Sony is fake. Stores put up placeholders, some news websites will just make stuff up. Until an official announcement is made, everyone that is not PD/Sony knows just as much as you do.

Well, there are the very rare occasions where Sony tell retailers a release date and they leak it before Sony go public, but as said, that actually happening is pretty rare. 99% of the time store dates before official announcements are made up, one way or another.

Why do people still fall for this? It's been known for years that the 31st of December is a placeholder date for an unreleased game.

Although it’s only a placeholder, it wouldn’t be too far from what PD already did in past:

I stand corrected, said the man in the orthopaedic shoes.
