GT7 - Sport mode Tuning Question

Thanks in advance for the help,

I am asking what tuning I can do for cars racing in GT7's online sport mode:

Can I do any tuning to help me in
The weekly races?
Weekly Time Trial?
Manufacturer cup/ Nations cup?

Im relatively a newb and looking for all the help I can get. Is there anything I can adjust to help w my times? Any advice much appreciated

For weekly races/lap time challenge, 99% of the time they will be under BoP anyway, so short answer, no.

But there have been instances where tuning is allowed (BoP not in place), just not very often.

BoP means basically we are using the car off the shelf? (tires excluded)

In a nutshell, yeah. But as the name suggests, it is Balance of Performance, which means some cars get nerfed, evident in the categorized groups.

None really which is one of the reasons why I don’t do online races in GT 7.
