GT7 tires vs real life tires

I was wondering, which of the game's tyres, road cars like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche etc, use in real life.
I mean, what's the equivalent of real life tires, to the game's tires.

Sports (soft- medium - hard)
Comfort (soft- medium - hard)
Racing (soft- medium - hard)

In general terms it's as follows. There will always be exceptions as you can often spec better tyres.

The latest hypercars (La Ferrari) and track focused models (911 GT3 RS) use Sports Medium.

More typical supercars (911 Carrera) and hot hatches (GR Yaris) use Sports Hard.

Sports Soft are basically cut slicks. Not something you'd find on an OEM car.

Comfort tyres are for your typical family models. The latest cars tend to be Comfort Soft, with Medium & Hard for older cars. Reflecting the tyre technology of the day.

For racing tyres PD changed things up in GT7. The latest prototypes (GR010) & single-seater race cars (SF19) use Race Medium, modern GT's use Race Hard. Race Soft are equivalent to qualifying tyres. It's not an absolute science, as older prototypes & single-seaters also use Race Medium. But that seems to be more about balancing Group performance. In reality Group C cars (787B) and older F1 cars (MP4/4) should use Race Hard.

We should have stuff like this, plus ABS configurations and TC configuration for factory cars on a stickied post!
