GT7 transfert to PS5

Although I searched I didnt found the exact complete process to transfert GT7 to PS5, I have the two discs for PS4 version and then I know I will have to pay 10€ to get the PS5 version..but how to transfer…
I think but not sure..
Transfer All data except the game
Insert the CD in ps5 and before installing buy the ps5 version

Not sure that s the good way to do it..
 
I'm not sure as I don't have a PS5, but...

I believe you just insert the PS4 disc on your PS5 and it will ask automatically if you want to upgrade it to PS5 version.
Your game data should be available as it is cloud stored on PD servers.

Latest system software update today has made it easier to do apparently.

There now is a notification when there are PS4 cloud data you can continue to use with the PS5 version of a game.
This doesnt apply to GT7 as the gaming profile is stored on the GT7 Servers.
Also it would only be "easier" if you have been using PS+ cloud storage for savegames at all.
