Maybe you have covered this already somewhere, but what is the math rationale behind the tire size calculator? Is it a method to account for the game physics for the rest of the calculator as it relates to the game?

Really enjoying the Pro Tuner so far, thanks again.

Quick question, possible bug... No matter what I set ARB stiffness to, it always recommends 1/1. Is this intentional?
That shouldn’t be the case. If you upload some screenshots of the app values you have entered and the outputs I can see where the issue lies.

The tire size needs to be calculated for the top speed/gear ratio equation. It’s all as per Real world equations and physics.

I maxxed and minned the ARB stiffness modifier, to no effect.

Thanks again for taking a look.

You stability figures are positive, they need to be a -0.28 and -1 respectively
Thanks! I will try that out and test it.

Can those 2 numbers ever be positive? I haven't seen it.

I assumed that the word "(under)" means that the absolute value was used.

It is still difficult to switch to voice keyboard on mobile to type a "-" because the numeric keyboard that is being used for android does not have that key enabled...

having the same 5-6-5 issue not matter what I change, what am I doing wrong 😑

From the look of the email you purchased the lite version, Wouldn’t be eligible for discount, I’m afraid. The discount is only for the expert version.
Hey. I haven’t used this in a while and was trying to download the spreadsheet latest version but wouldn’t work so came here and found out you have moved on to a web app now. Happy to sign up, is this discount code still available? I bought the expert version of the spreadsheet in dec'23

Absolutely it is yes, you just need to use the same email address that you used for the original version!

Would it be possible to save all the BoP values in the app by default? It's so punishing to get them out of the game (you have to create a lobby, add BoP, then get the data). I just want to look at ideal shift points for some of the BoP'd Gr3 cars. Also, it would be nice to just have the screenshots of default and BoP car power curves just saved in the app instead of having to upload each time.

Basically, I'm trying to figure out which GR3 car would (at least theoretically) lose the least acceleration when short shifting by 500rpm, 1000 rpm, 2000 rpm etc., based on their power curves.....any ideas?

I've bookmarked the protune web address to my phone's Home Screen. I tried looking for the actual app in the App Store but can't find it. Is the protune website that I've been using in safari considered the app?

Hi all. First time using the app. I purchased the full version. I’ve been following the tutorial and inputting the stats of my Civic I want to tune. On the suspension settings page when it asks about downforce it only lets me calculate the rear. For example the front is 110 and it’s telling me to set the rear at 66 when the lowest I can set it to is 100? Any help. Also is there a list of what tracks are deemed fast/technical. I’m trying to tune for Dragon Tail Gardens. Thanks.

Hi Dan,

Great to hear your getting into the app and tuning a FF is a great start! Hope you feel and see the benefits.

You can auto calculate the Rear downforce which is designed to create a balanced downforce load compared to the spring rate. Your best bet is either use manual rear DF setting, or raise the front downforce until the minimum rear DF is calculated.

With the track selection, fast track are those which have long straights and fewer turns and vice versa
For technical tracks. I would say dragons tail is a little bit of both so try both setups and see which is fastest for you!

Good luck and enjoy, any other questions don’t hesitate to drop a post.

Hi, this is a massive task and not something I can commit to at the moment. Apologies.
