GT7 Updates - as Slow as before?!

I wanted to install little patch 1.050, and it need as long as at GT Sport Small patches on copy- process… Thought with PS5-database, everything would get better??

I bought rhe 25th anniversary disc version and it still needs to download 97gb. I've only heard the disc drive come alive once for 40 seconds. Is this right?

I didn't notice any kind of significant lag with the 2 updates to my digital copy but I think this is going to have to do more with your internet speed vs. the fact that you have a PS5 vs. a PS4 like @FerrariF1GT mentioned.

What is your speed btw? Mine is 200+ / 11+ Mbps (down/up) so yeah, stuff downloads pretty quick for me regardless.

Indeed, actual patch, download goes fast in a few of seconds, copy process needs around 5 minutes……….! At PS5
