For several months now I've been unable to play online or single player. The radio goes quiet, then the minimap glitches, the cops don't exist, can't interact with the game and I can't shoot. My disc is perfect I've wiped my ps3 in search of a cure and nothing

It could be an issue with your PS3 rather than your disc. Make sure your disc is completely clean (wiping from the inner ring outwards) and try and clean the disc tray - what I did was blast a bit of compressed air through the tray and whilst it was unorthodox and possibly dangerous, it worked very well.

I replaced my whole blu ray drive and no fix

Are you absolutely sure the disc is OK? It may be difficult, but see if you can borrow a disc from somebody else. Remember to keep deleting and reinstalling data as well.

Do your other games work fine, both disc and downloadable?

Yes, all my other discs work better and they are in worse condition. I've deleted everything on my ps3 in an attempt to make it work and I delete the data weekly. I'm convinced that it's rockstars problem due to the amount of complaints on social club about people reporting the exact same findings.

If some other people have the exact same problem and your other games work fine then you're probably right, but I've never, ever had any of the issues you've mentioned except for crashes when transitioning between sessions in GTA Online. What you've described sounds a lot like a disc read error or maybe even bad RAM, but if your disc is fine and other games are fine then it seems unlikely.

See if you can use the same disc in another PS3. What model is yours, by the way, and how old?

I don't know, it seems like your PS3 is at fault here. None of those comments mention anything other than the game crashing, and that happens to everyone. You've mentioned lots of unusual stuff that points to a problem at some point between the optical disc and the processors; my guess (as I mentioned) being a bad disc drive not reading the disc correctly or bad RAM not storing the buffered streaming material and/or program instructions as it should, leading to the radio not working at all and various things not working as you'd expect.

I suppose it could be a bad hard drive which is corrupting the downloaded updates, but if that was the problem I would've thought you would've mentioned the environment in the game not loading properly or at all. Look up what a failing hard drive sounds like and see if your PS3 makes similar sounds.

Do you have a link to more than a handful of people mentioning that their radio no longer works, that they can't shoot or any of your more specific problems besides the crashing? Because if you have then I retract all of the above.

I've accessed the safe mode and defragged my harddrive and everything. GTA wouldn't play before I replaced my blu ray drive and after it's just the same.

That doesn't mean your hard drive isn't faulty though, sadly, but I don't think that's your problem anyway. If replacing your blu ray drive didn't fix it then I guess it's something more serious (i.e. less replaceable) than that.

Anyway, see if you can try your copy in another PS3 or another copy in your PS3 just to be sure, but basically I think your PS3 has had it for one reason or another. No definite error messages makes it kind of hard to tell, though. What else do you play and when was the last time you played any of them for a long period of time? Maybe try GTA IV if you have it and see how that behaves...? I'm out of ideas.

I have NFS Rivals, Dirt2, Dirt3, Deus ex, fifa 13, Battlefield 3, COD MW2, GT5, and GT6 All play without fault perfectly. I've never had an issue with any of them. I've tryed my game copy in Another PS3 and it had the same fault so i downloaded the digital version and that has the same problem.
