I know what you're thinking. "It's barely been out for 2 weeks, and already you're wanting another GTA?!" - Well, no, not really. But it's never too soon to start throwing your ideas out! Besides, the earlier you get your ideas up, the more likely they are to be seen (if rockstar decides to look around, as im sure GTP has a large GTA fan database). Not saying they'll be seen, but hey, just put your ideas here and stop being such a pest, aye?! ;)

Anywho, I just thought about something that would add alot of replay value to the next GTA. Diverging mission pathways. "What do you mean?" you ask. It's simple really.

San Andreas has opened up a rather good pathway in itself, just by letting you say "Yes" or "No" to certain things. If Rockstar were to put more use into this, they could probably incorporate it into missions in the plot line, and each answer you give could cause some sort of effect on the missions out come, or even further out, the whole plot ending. Wouldn't you want to play SA one more time over if you got propositioned by Big Smoke to throw in some money in helping him start up a "Business?" - If you were to say No, then you could continue on with the current SA missions, but then if you were to say yes, there would be a whole new set of missions available to you. Then once you have gone so far into this new mission set, it's impossible to go back, thus causing a different ending to the game.

Theres limitless possibilities to the things you can do with such a simple yes or no question. Wouldn't it be fun to be able to play San Andreas once, then play it again, and end up playing a completely different storyline? And even so, being able to play it yet again and have ANOTHER story line to attend to?

Sure, this would be alot of work, but rockstar looks like they've proven themselves in the industry when it comes to hard work.

Also, i'd like to see more expanding on the actual story length. Being able to beat the WHOLE game in 100 hours is fine, but i want atleast 90% of the time being spent on the actual story line. Why? The game is more interesting. Once i found out i was on the final mission of the game, i had actually started getting bored. Nonetheless, i still play, but i've barely played for maybe 30 hours (if that!) and i've beaten the game. I didn't necessarily rush through, either.

So, what are YOUR ideas? :)

Well that's basically what's discussed there.

Thanks Elliot!

Well I'll just rename that thread. There's already tons of conversation about it.

It's "Where Do Rockstar Go Next?". Actually, I won't. It's a pretty obvious name to me.
