Gta iv average speed

what is everyones average speed cos im wondering what he highest is?

If you mean my usual speed throughout the city, basically flat out. Floored on the straights, slow the corners while apexing and accelerate/ drift out.

There is a problem with apexing though. The curb becomes my apex and i ten to just get the curb with my side wheels, what comes from that is either some two wheeling, flipping or a nice turn.

I have no clue what the average speed is. If you have the PC version look for mods that give you a tacometer display when your in a car. I've seen a few of them on multiple versions of the game.

Didn't spot there was a whole thread for this now, mines about 35 for cruising at traffic speed and stopping to admire views.

Turbo told me where to find it. Its in the stats somewhere. I still havent looked at mine.

Mine's probably going to be in the 10's because I switch to TV when I'm waiting or get temporarily bored, and I don't pause.

Speaking of speed, is it just me that got the sense that speeds have been scaled down in IV ?

Although the dense scenery does give a sense of speed, - even top speed in a sports car doesn't really feel that fast

Also jumps are very peculiar in the way vehicles seem to leap in the air at the slightest provocation.

But I guess that if they scaled down speed they would also have to reduce gravity (in vehicles at least) to still make significant jumps possible.

You can find your average speed in the "stats".(vehicle stats or something)
Mine is 87mph

Ok i found out mine. 33mph. SOOOOO slow, had this been an online stat I would get around 45-50 I think. Im going to restart GTA so I can get trophies and the rest. I didnt bother restarting for trophies...
