GTA V steering wheel support?

I am considering to buy GTA V for my PS3 but I am curious if GTA V support steering wheel or not? Anyone has tried?

One may work by chance but they aren't actually supported and I promise you you'll have a bad time with it.

I can say it works well with the T500 RS, with a low steering-range.

Are you sure this is even a good idea considering how the cars handle in GTA V ? I wish that GTA V would have a more simulation driving mode, but true is that it has not and we have to live with it.

WIll give a try with G27 tonight.

Too bad I just unplugged my CSR Elite (one burned motor) last week, the elite have a left thumb knob and most of joystick buttons on the wheel. It also have ''in wheel steering-range adjustments'', something like 270 to 900... that could be handy for tuning.

But anyway, I tie wrapped a wireless Dual Shock controler over my G27 and both are seen as controler 1.

Will post here if it work, as a GT5 player that ALWAYS play with a wheel i'm totaly lost in GTA 5 races using the joystick. quite boring to retry a mission 10 times cuz you hit poles on walkways...

Wish me luck with the G27 test.

I guess the only reason the T500 works, is because it emulates the DS3, when it doesn't "understand" the game, then...

Just tried GTAV and no my g27 doesn't work, who cares the game is still so much fun, playing that until GT6 comes out.
