GTA V story mode Plane storage conundrum

Is it possible to store aircraft acquired throught San Andreas in one's purchased hangar at the airport or is this space strictly for those aircraft gifted via update and purchased from the in-game websites? If it's possible, where exactly in relation to the hangar's entrance am I to park the dang thing and am I to do anything other than exit the vehicle? Are vehicles permanently stored or only available if returned? Lastly, can the "Jet" (commercial airliner) be stored as well? Thanks in advance.

IIRC you can only store vehicles from the 'street' if you have no other vehicles stored in the hangar, and I don't even know if that's true. Unfortunately, at this point all hangars/helipads/docks will have at least one DLC vehicle in them which means the only way to get vehicles is to buy them. Aside from cars, thankfully.

You can store a single vehicle as long as you don't switch it to another one if I'm not mistaken.
