I was a bit bored today so I decided to ask the question:

How fast can you get 100% on Gran Turismo Concept?

Rules:

* You are allowed to make changes in the options menu before starting
* Any wallcontact/offcourse driving is allowed
* Loading previous setups to cars is allowed (the time to change setups must be included in the total time)
* You must start at 0%
* Use a stopwatch, start it when you choose "start game" from the first menu. then you can't turn it off before you get 100%
* If you take a break you must stop the stopwatch when the ps2 isn't loading or processing something, e.g. wait until you are in the main menu.
* Stop the stopwatch when you get the screen that says "ending movie", you'll get it after the 2 screens that tells you you've completed normal and pro mode if you run only the pro races.

I have no idea if GTC differs in what car you drive in the licensetests between the versions.

Anyway I had to retry in total 8-10 times on the license tests so there's time to gain.

The licensetests got completed in ~36 minutes. The rallyes completed in ~27 mins. Tarmac races completed in ~33 mins.

All races ran only in proffessional mode ('fcourse)

I did the rallyes first, first race I used the Skyline GTR v-spec. I thought it's 450 hp would be fast but it wasn't. For the remaining 3 rallyes I used the Toyota RSC Rallye Car, It's so much better on rallye courses. On tarmac I used the C5R.

The only tuning I did was changing the C5R:s tires to soft and lowering it's gear ratio.

Result:

GTC 2002 Tokyo-Geneva completed in:

1hour, 35minutes and 31seconds.

Pretty crappy for a semi-fullprice game today huh?

I know you can do better. Beat my time!

Just seen this today :) I'll give it ago soon, maybe even tonight

when i first got this game i was suprised how fast i was completing it....i played it for a few hours and found out i have completetd 65%..!

i havent completed it yet because i got a bit bored but i would imagine you can complete this game from 0-100% in about 5 hours straight...

I got 100% in 1.35.31 with some misses on the licenses. It's doable in 1.25-1.30 if you get all golds on the first try.
