GTEYE throttle spring for G29

Back in GT6 days someone posted a vid for a quick change over to GTEYE springs which did not involve removing the back of the pedal base.
Only had to remove the pedal if I remember correctly. I did it back then with my G27 for brake and throttle and now want to insert my new GTEYE throttle spring into my G29 the same way, but want to be sure I do it correctly.
If anyone remembers that thread and can point me to it I'd appreciate it.

Well, found one on YouTube but it is in Russian, no matter, it's not hard to see what is happening.
