Welcome to the very first GTFest Event! Held once a year, we shall be celebrating everything Gran Turismo!
About GTFest:
GTFest was an idea that I came up with a while back; but only recently put into action. It's designed for the Community to come together; and celebrate everything to do with Cars and Gran Turismo - as well as have fun along the way. We're also on the hunt to find the best car within the GTPlanet Community - and therefore shall need your help finding it! There are cool prizes to be won from this Festival, too!

Within this festival - we have a range of categories that your vehicle may fit into; which means you always have a good chance of winning a prize!
The "Fast & The Furious" Catagory is designed for High Performance Supercars. Showing off the very best that companies such as Ferarri, Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz and others have to offer. The Vehicles that compete here are completely stock - which allows a good range of different drivers and cars to enter.
Entry Regulations:
- Your Vehicle MUST have 800BHP or less.
- Your Vehicle MUST NOT be modified (other than oil changes or other vehicle maintenance from GTAuto).
- Your Vehicle MUST be running on Sports: Soft or less.
- Your Vehicle MUST be built after 2000.

"King of The Tarmac" is for the Sports Cars. Fast enough to blow away youths in Citreons at the lights; but luxurious enough to be able to cruise. If you're that sort of person - then this may be for you! From Aston Martin for Mercedes-Benz, this category provides a whole lot of fun!

- Your Vehicle MUST be running on Sports: Soft or less.
- Your Vehicle MUST NOT be modified (other than oil changes or other vehicle maintenance from GTAuto).

Want to drive quickly, but on a budget? "The Road Racers" category is for you! Cars are allowed to be modified - and may be tuned within the restrictions. Anything from Honda S2000 to Mazda Atenza Sports are welcome!

- Your Vehicle MUST have 355BHP or less.
- Your Vehicle CAN be modified.
- Your Vehicle MUST be running on Sports: Soft or less.
- Your Vehicle MUST be built after 1990.

"The Shopping Carts" provide some great fun. Some great cars - some great driving - and some great people! Possible one of the categories that has the largest fun factor! There's nothing better than taking your little "pocket rocket" for a spin around a tight track!

"Drift Club" is all about rubber... All about burning it...
Drift Club is all about burning rubber, and allowing smoke to pour from your tires! This category needs no more explanation; apart from the aim of the game is to go sideways!

- Your Vehicle MUST be running on Comfort: Soft or less.
- Your Vehicle and Yourself MUST BE able to perform clean drifts.
- Your Vehicle MUST be based on a Road Legal Car.
- Your Vehicle MAY have Racing Modifications.

The "Racers" Category is to celebrate the many years of enjoyment that racing has brought us! From the 90s with the LeMans, to the present day with Formula 1...

- Your Vehicle MUST be Race modified (from GTAuto) or purchased as a Race Car.

For those who like a bit of Old Fashioned fun, we have something for you to. Bring on the Old Timers - for vehicles built before 1985; this brings some classics to the modern age!

For those who want to move from the Tarmac, we shall be taking you to the Gravel Tracks. This Category is designed for your everyday 4WD Vehicle to come and tackle the troublesome tracks.
Entry Requirements:
- Your Vehicle MUST have 335bhp or less.
- Your Vehicle MUST NOT be a Pre-Built Rally Vehicle.
- Your Vehicle MUST be 4WD.
- Your Vehicle MUST be equipped with Dirt Tires.
- Your Vehicle MAY be modified.

"Something Special" is for those cars that are just too good to race, or show in the other categories. This group of cars shall be some of the most prestige cars at the Festival - as well as some of the most rare!

Festival Rules:
1. Due to the tight timetables - please make your entrance as close to the given time as possible.
2. Follow the instructions given by the Lounge Owner (myself).
3. When/if asked to leave, please do so.
4. "Crappy" driving shall not be tolerated. You shall be asked to leave.
5. During "fun" races, keep contact to an absolute minimum.
6. Keep the chat/thread discussion friendly at all times.
7. You are allowed to swap tunes within the lounge - under the owner of the cars permission.
8. Have fun!

Competition:
To add a small level of competitiveness to the Festival - we have added a small competition area where prizes can be won. During the event, we shall take images of your vehicles and note down which vehicle belongs to who. Then we shall post the cars into a thread with a poll. The Cars that win in their respective categories then go onto a Final - where we set up another thread and poll - and you vote for your favorite. At the end - we release which car belongs to who within the Community. Anybody from the GTPlanet Community is allowed to vote on the poll - so therefore, the images shall be kept anonymous so that only the car is focused on - and not the driver.
The winner of each category shall win a prize; and then the Top 3 results within the final shall also win prizes. The prizes are as followed;
Category Winner: Car Worth 50,000Cr.
Final - 3rd Place: Car Worth 250,000Cr.
Final - 2nd Place: Car Worth 500,000Cr.
Final - 1st Place: Car Worth 750,000Cr.
Competition Rules:
1. Do not indicate which vehicle is your vehicle.
2. Do not vote for yourself in the poll.
3. Do not reveal the identity of other people's vehicles.
4. If you don't get through to the final - don't start going off at people because of it.
5. This is all for fun - and should be kept that way.
6. Anyone can vote on the Poll.
