Really looking forward to the new season and the new forum.
I help to organise and officiate the league races and both myself and Rob especially have put in a lot of hours of thought and dedication into trying to make GTJunkies a mecca for GT5 league racing.
Although in it's infancy, we hold great hope for the future of GTJunkies and the quality of the racing that takes place as a result of it's use.
Currently, we have in place our very own Theory Test to help our members familiarise themselves with our extensive Race Rules. All our members are required to take this test to ensure what we hope will be a high standard of not only competitive, but clean league racing.
In addition to this, all those who sign up will be required to take a simple practical test.
At GTJunkies, our seasons are - and always have been - the result of community discussion, meaning you get your say in the style of competition in which you compete.
Each season is different from the last to reflect the huge variety of vehicles GT5 has to offer. Some of the ideas our members have put forward for potential future leagues include Touring Cars, Supercars and a World Tour.
Our next season (Season 6) consists of 4 of the racing modifiable cars from the series. Each will be raced twice, consecutively, at two different tracks making 8 races altogether with a one week break mid-season during which we'll be holding an open track day to sign up new recruits. Each season will follow this format of 4 weeks on, 1 week off, as it's important to take a break now and then.
