-LEAGUE WILL LAST 12 WEEKS WITH THE LOWEST TWO SCORES DROPPED. SO IF SOMEONE HAS TO MISS A WEEK, OR GETS DISCONNECTED IT WON'T KNOCK THEM OUT OF CONTENTION.
-RACES WILL LAST BETWEEN 2 AND 3 HOURS.
-ALL RACES WILL HAVE HEAVY DAMAGE
-PTS SYSTEM WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:
1.
1st=100 2nd =80 3rd=70 4th=60 5th=55 6th=50 7th=45 8th=40
9th=35 10th=30 11th=25 12th=20 13th=15 14th=10 15=5 16th=0
2. RACERS WILL GET A 2 PT BONUS FOR EVERY RACER THAT RACES THAT DAY. (so if there are only 10 racers that show up that day you won't get as many pts for winning as if you win a race with 16 racers).
3. DRIVER WIN RECEIVE 5PT BONUS FOR GETTING POLE POSTION DURING QUALIFING.

As of right now the way we are going to try and run this is by having a total of approximately 40 drivers. We will hold qualifing each week where each driver will get one chance to run one lap at that week's track. There will be two races held each week, one on Saturday night and one on Sunday night. The drivers with the top 16 best laps will get their choice of which night they wish to race. The next 16 will get to race the other night. If somone can't make a race the driver with the next best lap time will be able to take his place.
Qualifing will take place pretty much any night of the week that you contact me or one of the others helping out with the league. But remember you only get one shot at it. It might be better to practice a few nights before you give it a shot. Also nobody's time will be annouced until everyone has posted their times. This way someone running later will not know what time he has to beat. I may release a leaderboard without the times if we come up with a message board area,but that isn't for sure as of yet.
Drivers in the top 5 in points will get one provisional. This means if they do not have high enough qualifing time to make either race then they can bump the last place qualifer and start in his place. Also a driver will also get one provisional for winning a race. In case of more than one provisional being used in one race, the pecking order will be race winner first then highest ranking pts position next and so forth.
In the event where on the race day of the Sunday night race and there are not enough drivers to fill out the field, a racer that raced the day before can race a 2nd time and take which ever finish was the best. In the event that there is more than one driver wishing to fill in, the driver lower in the standings gets first option. As many drivers as want can fill in any empty driving spots. However obviously any driver that hasn't raced has the first option.
At the end of each race ALL drivers are asked to save the replay. If there are any questions about the online scoring for the race, then everyone in question will need access to checking replay. Once the final scoring is agreed upon and everyone is satified then replays can be deleted. This will help all the drivers help us keep the best possible scoring.
Any driver quiting a race before the races conclusion will forfeit his score for that race. If you feel you are better off pulling to the side of the track to stay out of everyones way that is fine, but don't leave the race until it is over....PLEASE!!! This isn't fair to the ones who hang in there and stick it out. Keep in mind no one is going to be able to win each and every week. Some times the difference between winning and losing the points race will be who finished a race after getting wrecked early and still coming back to finish in the top 10. Never give up, you get points just for finishing. Also it goes without saying but save your revenge for off the track. Anyone caught "going after" another driver because you feel they wrecked you on purpose will not be racing with us again. It was probably an accident and if it wasn't report the incident and if it happens more than a few times that driver will be ejected from the league. This is a free, just for fun league. Lets try and have fun. If you can't handle getting wrecked DON'T RACE. It will happen to us all before the season is over, so learn to deal with it, it happens. We will try and make sure we have the cleanest racers possible but it will still happen from time to time. None of us like it, but we all have to deal with it. Suck it up and try and get the best finish possible.
As of right now we are giving away a X1 for 1st place in the champoinship.
(most likely it will be any color you want)
2nd will be a F1 any color and 3rd will be a R8 playstation race car.
Both weekly winners will get a NASCAR of their choice. More gifts may be added as the league's interest grows.
