dose anyone think that the gto is a bad drifter?
i have been drifting it for a while and i still cant get a solid drift out of it.
i mean im great with my s13, s2000, r32 (awd stock), and just about everything to a daihatsu ( the midget its a long story but its funny to see it go sideways). but i have never been able to get the gto to drift. its almost like it gose into the corner great then at the end i either end up spining or understeering.
so who would agree with me ? all though i dont think anyone will from what i have read.

The GTO is not a good drift car stock, but the Holden Monaro is. If you didn't know it, the new GTO is basically a rebadged and softened Monaro... but the difference in cornering capabilities (in GT4 at least) is staggering.

see i thought that the monaro was just a gto but its had things done to it. so to get a gto up to a monaro you need suspinsion, more stability and i think a few more things but this is something i just found out.

Actually, the Monaro came first. Holden built it, then Vauxhall badged ones were sold in the UK for a while... Finally, Pontiac took that awesome car and pretty much ruined it for the US market. SO.. don't bother with the GTO, the Monaro is both a lot better, AND it looks prettier too.

In theory, all you'd need to make your GTO like a Monaro would be suspension, LSD and some minor tweaks. However, In GT4 there is no way to make to make that happen.... the pontiac will always understeer like a pig on ice... that's one of the bad things about GT4, you can't really alter that kind of stuff.
