Military helicopters are interesting, but not cool.
 
I didn't recognize the name. Immediately after seeing the pic, I recognized it as the Hind-D. One of the coolest looking gunships from when I was a kid. Easy SZ for me, and they were on the wrong side. ;)
 
Not sure how these are uncool, I gave it a cool because in its world it is outshined by those that I'd rate as SZ

What's a Russian gunship doing here?

The Mi-24 was also present in MGS3 and Peace Walker (but there were early versions, with different cockpit). Although MGS3 was set in 1964 (if I remember it right) but the real helicopter did its first flight in 1969.

Probably the coolest of helicopters. The very definition of Eastern Bloc cool.
