Meh. How can I vote any other way on something that doesn't exist. I'm even second guessing voting at all.

I reckon Mattel have had the final designs sorted since about 1998, and are just waiting for 2015 when they can release it.

But, it's probably not going to happen. Meh.

It isn't going to happen next year. Thus it makes it a nerdy sci-fi dream. SU.

It isn't going to happen. Ever. Seriously Uncool.

Im not going to vote, but might as well leave this here....

And its apparently on Kickstarter. But i still don't think that the Mattel Hoverboard is going to be valid technology by December 25 2015

Sub Zero.

I want one, but it probably won't happen.

I have total confidence the Cubs will sweep the World Series next year though.

Pretty much this, even if it could lift, hover and support 150 - 200 lbs there no way to keep balance without some kind lateral stability. SU

Uncool. This single items sums up the total lack of future technology development awareness in 80's Hollywood. The fact that it's still a skate boards is ridiculous; having developed anti-gravity tech it should have surely been applied to something useful like a wheelchair or stretcher rather than a low-tech bit of sports kit which is mainly used for recreation.

Also, with that kind of tech why was any still walking around in Sunnydale? Surely they would all have personal hover transports.
