Information: Introduced in August 2016, the Acer Predator 21 X made its debut as one of the most technologically advanced and costliest gaming laptops to hit the market. If the specs weren't impressive enough, the 21 X also features the first ever curved 21-inch screen to be fitted to a laptop, five cooling fans and the capacity to hold up to 4TB of SSD storage. Only 300 of these laptops will ever be made.

The idea of paying nearly $10,000 on a laptop computer is nonsense to me.

Seriously Uncool.

You'd have to be clinically insane to spend $9,000 on a laptop.

SU

Take it to a friends and it's cool as it can do loads of stuff. Take it in public and you are a geek with no friends and therefore SU.

Since you have no friends example 1 doesn't apply. Therefore SU. :p

- Trolls console users by pointing out they have spent hundreds on a system they can't upgrade.

- Buys $9,000 gaming laptop that will be outdated long before a console user spends that much on consoles.

Seriously Uncool

I'd never buy one for $9K, but I'm not gonna lie, I went into a daydream after I saw 64 gig of memory. Low cool.

Seriously uncool because it's hideous, only for rich geeks, and most of all because somebody wanted to nominate it for ACW.

I see that graphic above the keyboard, and I wonder if Acer thought about how laptops are supposed to be portable, even if it is made to play games.

That, and it nearly made a Vegeta meme relevant. Nearly.

You can build something far better than this for far less. And, being a gaming laptop, There is no portability whatsoever.

Seriously Uncool

Every experience I've had with an Acer has ended badly, and while I enjoy a gaming laptop, I wouldn't pay that much to acer for one, when I can get a more durable alienware for less. Which is quite surprising...or I could just get a desktop, since the concept of gaming laptop has always been somewhat silly to me.

Also it's the limited run production hyper car of the laptop world...that alone is SU.
