GTP App problems with news page.

Im using the GTP app for android and any videos posted in news page articles will not play. As with most YouTube videos there is a still of the video with a play button on it but pressing play just leaves a black screen.

Another problem is links to the forum posted on the news page open in a web browser not the app.

It must be said however these are two small problems with what is otherwise a great app.
 
What type of phone are you using, and what version of Android?

Can anyone else with the Android app confirm they are experiencing this problem with the videos?

I don't think forum links opening within the app's forum system is something which will ever be supported, unfortunately. Eventually, the entire site and forum will be fully optimized for mobile devices, and the app will no longer be necessary.
 
Im using an Xperia Play which I think uses the Android version that came before Ice Cream Sandwich. It's only been happening the past month or so, previously videos played fine

Edit: The OS is Gingerbread 2.3.4

Same thing on my S3 with Ice Cream Sandwich. Started getting a black screen recently. It's odd we are having the same problem with different versions of android.
 
Also having this issue as of this post. Galaxy s3 running ice cream sandwich.
 
I am on a PC and this entire forum including Forzaplanet looks all messed up. Red x everywhere.
