GTP Challenge: Drifter260Z v. Night_Drifter

Wow, it's been a while since I've been here. We should have many more battles once GT4 is out! :D Anyways ...

Here are the judges for this challenge:

When you want to turn in your entries, please upload it to either pergatory's FTP or 19XX's FTP and only give the judges the link to the videos and as soon as they are evaluated, then the links will be made public to promote fairness in these challenges.

When the video is uploaded please PM the head judge [Thio] with the link of the video... and post in the thread that your video is uploaded so the judges will know to check there PMs. Also, remember to nclude the spedometer and wheel in all videos.

hey thio, why do we have to put speedo and wheel in replay. I would like this to be a race without any stipulations(sp?). 19th? no problem. this is a whole lap drift competition. and it isn't a Trial Mountain II, it will be Trial Mountain I. peace.
 
oh cool, so whats the drift, speed drift or exhibtion style, humm it dont matter, damn i havent got my PS2 back, i'll get it this week, so good luck to my challenger
 
I'm assuming this will be an exhibition drift challenge, assuming that this is still a drift forum :p

Weeeee...hopefully this challenge will run more smoothly than in the past. I can usually get my votes in pretty quick, but some people seem to take forever with theirs. :crosses fingers: :)

Thio said he would add driftster and ark i believe if they aimed or pmed him... so give him and them a chance to do so... Sorry about the last two challaneges that were happening at the same time... my computer was really acting up... Anyways i would suggest that you pm all the judges thio (or at least the ones who havent responded to this post) to make sure that they are aware of the situation...
 
Yeah, I already PMed and even got a reply of "Sure, you're in" before this, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing this one or anything :P
 
Just about every time I see you involved in a challenge, you make it a point to say that yours is done already. And that you always mention the ss tires, as if it is a big acheivement. No offence, but it strikes me as well, cocky.
 
To be honest, I think a lot of people have Night Drifter pegged wrong. I think his post was merely to inform those involved in the challenge, and those of us who are curious approximately how long we have to wait for the results; at least on his side. Another point that is brought out is the fact that he mentions the SS tire thing all the time. It's obvious that he is proud of this fact, quite obvious. That doesn't necessarily mean that he thinks he's better than anyone. He might just think so, but I don't see it a lot of the time (other people post about how they're proudly Sim Drifters).

There are a lot of people who do have a pompous air about them without even realizing it. He might be one of these, who really don't mean anything by it, but it is just the way they are.

Another thing is that he doesn't seem to have all that great a handle on the English language. I say it doesn't seem so because I could be way off base. However, when I have read some of his posts, it strikes me that he is possibly not originally from America. Again, perhaps I'm wrong in my assumptions, but this might be one thing that contributes to the fact that he is largely misunderstood.
 
It's all good and dandy that he is proud of using ss tires. I learned to drift with ss(super slik, not super soft). Then I switched to sim, and suck on them. I can drift 4wd on sims, but you don't read me posting it in the few times I actually decide to write a post. As for being from a different country, does it really matter if he is from a different country? I don't think much if your from here or from another planet, as long as I can talk to about drift, I really don't care where your from.
 
Okay, I'm sorry. Let me reword my comment. Night Drifter really does not seem to have a handle on the english language. This might be one of the deciding factors for the reason people think he means stuff he does not mean.

Imagine you have trouble speaking English. You say something, then get jumped by a group. You wonder why; you have no clue. With your limited handle on the language, you obviously do not know you said something wrong, but everyone else knows.

Is my babbling easier to understand, now?
 
well thanks True Noobie, im wasnt born in America, i was born in Thailand, plus i know my english isnt so good, hey im sorry if you guys misunderstood me, its just that no one drift with super soft, and i really like to see someone drift with super soft, because when i watch people drift with sim tires, its just the same thing as me drifting with SS tires, i wont post anything no more, i like to help but i just couple explain things right, but check out all my vids on 2 player thread thingy, SORRY TO EVERYONE IN GTPLANET
 
Hey tru noobie, are you trying to say I didn't understand what you said the first time? And fyi, I do have a speech problem that has gotten me in hot water. So I do know what your talking about. As for you night_drifter, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding that I had. It's just that it got a little old.
 
well hey its all good im not mad at no one, i know im not good in english class, i do have a hard time understanding vocab and suchs english words, i can only said my english as good as i can.
