The GTP/vB time zone and DST settings don't work together properly - I can't get my GTP time to be the same as my local time.

In the time settings, it has GMT +12.00 Auckland, Wellington etc.

So I select that, seeing as I'm in NZ (Christchurch), and let GTP "automatically detect DST settings". But, local time right now is 8.57 AM, and GTP displays it as 9.57 AM - an hour too late.

Surely if I select the NZ time zone and let GTP detect DST settings, it should show the correct time, no?

We just got out of daylight savings, so why won't GTP make adjustments accordingly?

I have the same problem here, its 7.15am but GTP says 8.15am. I haven't really taken much notice of the time settings before but I am sure at some stage they have been correct. Could just be that Daylight Savings times seem to change so often in different countries that The GTP/vB time zone settings aren't up to date.

My local time and date appear to be correct with the settings in my account (GMT -5:00, DST set to "Automatic"). Perhaps you should disable the DST option?

Hmm, with "DST Always Off", the time is still 1 hour ahead, as it is when its set to Automatic.
DST On gives me a time two hours ahead :p

Hmm, indeed. :boggled: The only thing I can suggest is to actually change your time zone. The server's time, which is used in determining the user's local time, is synced with time.nist.gov, so I'm not sure what else I can do.

I had to fiddle with it a bit...
It was either an hour early or an hour late, but I changed the DTS to "Always On" and now it's fine with the correct time zone and everything.

With time zone +12 (as it should be), and DST always off, I now get the correct time.

Yesterday, I'm sure that same combo gave me a time one hour behind...

Surely, however, leaving DST to auto should give the correct time, regardless of whether DST in your country is on or off, right?
