Additional Information: Cadillac started development of a "multi-cylinder car" in 1926. This car was to become Cadillac's most expensive and opulent car to date. Development started in secret. The OHV V16 engine allowed the car to reach 90-100 mph. Harley Earl and Larry Fisher were responsible for designing the new car. They took inspiration of Europe's finest coachbuilders and decided to have the cars tailored to customer's specifications. Most were to be built by Fleetwood and Fisher to keep it in-house GM. The costliest Cadillac was revealed at the New York Motor Show in January, 1930 with a base price of $5,350 ($84,000 today) . Due to the high price and launching the vehicle right after the stock market crash, sales dropped significantly. Cadillac sold 2,500 Series 452s in 1930 and only sold 49 each year between 1935 and 1937. The V16 Caddy would evolve and become the 2nd gen. Series 90 which would be built until 1940.

Most of you may know I am not any Cadillac fanatic. Seeing this car from the 1930s, though, this is BEAUTIFUL! I can only go Sub-Zero on this gorgeous car. So that's my call, and I'm sticking to it.

If you're going to ignore a vote because it's for a reason you don't like, there's no point having a poll.
If they voted on the car I would have counted it. They're just trying to make drama, and we don't need that here.

SZ for the engine alone. How many V16 production cars have there been anyway? The only other one I can think of is the Cizeta V16T.

Other than this one and the Cizeta, I think the Marmon Sixteen is the only other V16 production car. It was produced from 1931-1935 and an estimated 500 units were made. Marmon's development of the sixteen-cylinder engine began three years before Cadillac.

A V16 with less than 200hp? This thing is trash.

Of course I'm joking. Each and every single one of these are Masterpieces.

SubZero.

Oh, I can't vote anymore. I would have voted Sub-Zero without any doubt.

The cars in the first and third photo are one of the most beautiful vintage cars I have ever seen. Really.
