Probably the slickest design to come out of the US during the 40s. Not a big fan of the lead sled mods but they hardly sway my vote.

Cool.

Ah, it's so refreshing, after a sea of ugly cars, to see the clean and uncut lines of a 1950's car. So sleek and smooth. After seeing the picture with the cherry red woody wagon, the deal was done and signed. Sure, it's big and probably sips through fuel like a drunk man sips through a bottle of whisky, but who cars about that when you can cruise along with such class?

This car is unquestionably cool. No doubt about that, baby.

The rebel may not have had a cause, but he did have a Mercury. SZ.

Seriously, though, I cannot believe that no one at all has even mentioned James Dean! This was his car in his most famous film.

I love the aesthetic that this car has, but sadly unless you're a suave 50's detective you'll never look cool driving it. Still cool though.

I love these cars, but the owners are some of the most annoying people ever and like to pretend their car is worth a million dollars.

Uncool.

Cool because it is what it it. Unless it gets 20" billet wheels and then it very quickly becomes uncool.
