Power: 40 hp
Torque: 52 lb-ft.
Weight: 780 kg
Transmission: 4-speed manual

Additional Info: "The DKW Monza was a sports car built on an Auto Union DKW base. Named after the world-famous Italian Grand Prix circuit, the car set five world records in 1956.

After the series of wins by the DKW 3=6 'Sonderklasse' in European touring car racing and rallying in 1954 and 1955, two racing drivers started to develop a sporty body for the successful model. Günther Ahrens and Albrecht W. Mantzel designed a record-breaking car on the basis of the 3=6, incorporating an extremely lightweight plastic body built at Dannenhauer & Stauss in Stuttgart, Germany."

Cute. DKW's sound like nothing else. Cool.

Meh

Cool, how could you not love that face?

Driving in small style followed by a nice cloud of blue smoke.

Cool.

"Cool" would not be my first thought after seeing one of these go down the road.

SU.

Because it's got 4 rings on it?

Without them, it'd be cool. With them, it's uncool.
That's a little weird.

Looks a lot like the AC Cobra... Then again lots of cars looked like that around then.

The front wheel drive and bizarrely low trunk is a little... Ehhhhh.

That's a little weird.

Not really, to those who don't know the Auto Union or DKW they'll recognise the four rings and just reckon you're driving a very cute Audi.

Meh. Makes me think of a tiny Mercedes Benz 300SL.

Doesn't have enough power to do anything for me. It's a cool classic car but at the end of the day it's still slower than a Daihatsu. Meh.

For a perspective here is how a regular DKW 3=6 looks like, the chassis donor of the Monza:

By far the prettiest car to wear the Monza name.

Would so love to drive one.

I can't believe it set five world records yet has never featured in a GT instalment. Sad.

Meh. Makes me think of a tiny Mercedes Benz 300SL.
To the extent that people would think you cobbled it together on a Beetle or something to have a cheaper equivalent like so many Fieros vs F355s.

Uncool.

Without them, it'd be cool. With them, it's uncool.

So true. But I am giving it a meh, alone for being a classic.

Edit: Great, I accidently voted cool :grumpy:

High Cool.
