Additional Information: An obscure product of Ford of Canada, the Monarch nameplate was used intermittently starting shortly after WWII as a more upscale offering in Ford dealerships. The Richelieu was the top-of-the-line model in 1956, utilizing a basic Mercury shape with detail changes to the hood and lights. Less than 1000 were produced during this year.​
