Seriously ugly!

Uncool.

I think it looks fine enough for what it is, but it's your opinion (shrugs).

Cool. It was able to keep up with a Porsche 904. How often can that happen?

Not too often, that much can be said, and it is quite a feat for such a simple-minded Japanese sedan.

As for me, the Prince Skyline is a neat car. Sure, the sedan may not set the world on fire design-wise, but its racing pedigree is hard to overlook. And the wagon is a pure case of simple but classy design, it just looks pure and cool. Besides, because there's no GT-R version, this car can evade the dreaded "GT-R fanboys"! I'd say those reasons are enough to award this car with a Cool rating. It's just one of those classic cars that'll put a smile on your face, regardless of you knowing it or not.

Proportions are rubbish.

Far too tall in relation to its width and its 'slab sided'.

Well, you do have a point; the fourth picture does make the car look too tall for what it's supposed to be. The wagon doesn't seem to be that off, but then again, it may have been modified...

The wagon looks better because it's had most of the chrome removed (or has a different front end treatment - maybe a later model?) and it's been lower about 6"!

Guess that answers my question, then. Neverthess, it's still a neat car, wonky proportions aside. The Hakosuka Skyline is a better looking classic 4-door Skyline, but this one isn't half bad.

Cool, because that's exactly what I'd say if I saw it at a car show. Wouldn't fawn over it, and wouldn't go "Eww, look at that thing!" either.

Not much going for it other than holding a monarchical title.

That said, this was bolder than a Bluebird and prettier than a Corona at the time. All three manage to generate a flicker of interest, but not much in the way of coolness.
