Well, the different angles of the rear end are a bit off-putting, but the rest of this package isn't half-bad to look at. Sure, it still has some of that classic "1970's Italian supercar reliability" syndrome, but with the Citroen hydraulics (which are known to deliver some fine confort and handling capabillities), it at least demands less of a professional wrestler's biceps to drive it.

Also, those tailights need to be within the rear grille (?), not below it. That's what makes the silver Maserati so off-putting... Cool.

This may well be the prettiest Maserati ever. It doesn't photograph well, but in person this car will easily shame a Daytona for looks.

Sub-zero.
The rear end of the green one does look intresting...

...But the rear end of the silver one is intresting in the wrong way.
The green one is an original European spec car. The silver is the modified US spec car with the low tail lights and elongated plastic bumper.

If the Cool Wall allowed for nominations of certain versions of cars (like the U.S version for example), I would give the U.S version an uncool rating because of the ugly rear bumper ruining the look of the car and how the taillights are so low compared to the European version.

Of course the Cool Wall is not about that so I give the car a rating of "Cool".

Any pre-80s Maserati is pretty much a guranteed SZ for me. Heavier and slower than the peers they were often compared to, but because most of the models looked so damn fast. There really weren't many marques putting out cars that looked like this, not on any sort of scale anyway (Ferrari, Lamborghini, De Tomaso, that was about all)

How the hell the NA version in the ear look so bad? What ehe heck happened to it?!

Anyway, Didn't vote SZ because, there's a few bits that would be ugly, but interior, an instant classic and interesting bodywork, and being a maserati, this gets a severe high cool.
