Body Style: 2-door coupé
Engine: 3.4L flat-6 turbo
Power: 374 hp
Torque: 350 lb-ft
Weight: 1169 kg
Transmission: 5-speed manual (later a 6-speed was available)
Drivetrain: Rear-engine, rear-wheel drive
Additional Info: In 1984, the RUF BTR won Road and Track's "World's Fastest Cars" contest and broke the 186 mph barrier. The same car competed again in 1987 after 211,000 miles were on the car, and it destroyed cars like the Lamborghini Countach, the Isdera Imperator 108i, the Ferrari 288 GTO, and only the Porsche 959 and RUF CTR were faster.

SZ like all classic RUF's. People might bag on them for being derivative of actual Porsches, but they have earned their legacy in my mind.

Always loved RUF's just ooze cool, and dare I say it....9 times out 10, I prefer them to Porsche's. After-all RUF are their own company and rightfully deserve their respect as they're more than just being "based on Porsche's"

Anyway Sub-Zero (love the CTR2 more though :D).

Another of them proper RUF's, manual only, slick looking, and puts the Countach and 288 to shame. Is anything else have to be said?

Sub-Zero by a mile.

It's a what? A big turbo RUF? What's that?

SU.

Explaining, forcing or fabricating cool isn't cool. Cool would be the guy daily driving a 912 because it was attractive, old and not making excuses for itself.

Sub-Zero. Every RUF in my mind is at least cool...

...almost, and all classic RUFs such as this one deserve a nice spot in the Ice Box. I'd do very horrible things to own a BTR.
