I had never heard of these until my a friend of my brother got one. Being a weird car I never knew about always gives some extra cool points for me, but the meh-to-bad looks bring it down. Balances out at Meh.

I'm going to have to go Uncool here. Decently designed, but it just doesn't have that appeal to make it stand out. Like... how are you going to win peoples' respect saying you drive an Infiniti J30? So my final call on this one is Uncool.

I've heard this car being called the Japanese Buick. Which isn't exactly false, considering the J30's plushness, soft ride, and unpretentiousness. But this car is FR and has V8 power, unlike the 90s Buicks. Most of these have been converted into drift cars but every now and then I'll see a stock one on the road, driven by someone at least 80.

Not even the BBS wheels in the main photo saves it from being a really generic 90's blob, but it kinda appeals to me and I don't know why.
Meh, could be worse

Uncool, only because I developed a special hatred for all those insufferably snobby Infiniti TV commercials that saturated prime time back in the '90s.
