Meh. I don't think it's pretty enough to ever become a classic like the F355 or 328, so it'll be the cheap Ferrari that gets abused and driven by guys who want to look cool without having any clue what it means to be cool. My least favorite Ferrari, hands down.

It's a strange Ferrari, this 360. For me at least, that is. I like its design, but I'm not sure it's prettier than the brilliant 355. It goes faster and handles better, sure, but it still hasn't quite gained that aura that makes these older Ferrari junior supercars so cool. It's like an Italian wine; it needs a few more years to get to that sweet spot, where it becomes not too tacky or too hastily abused by inexperienced drivers who think they know how to drive a car (when in reality they only drive them to compensate for a couple of things). As I said, it needs more time before it can considered a true legend.

So I'll give it a low cool for now.

First Ferrari I ever drove, and the best Ferrari to work on. Cleaner than the 355, not as fussy as the F430. Sounds great, looks great, and manual was available.

Styling is actually pretty close to the 246 Dino if you put them next to each other.

The front looks magnificent but the rear is a bit too goofy. Give it a few years and this might become as much of a classic as the F355.

It's trying to jump out of the Uncool barrel but it's not quite there. Yet.

It always looked liked Ferrari wasn't sure how to improve the F355 design, so they instead just threw together a bunch of contemporary styling cues together (like those horribly bland blobby 90s projector lights) with some F355 bits in it (like the rear panel) and called it a day (GM later did the same thing with the C6 Corvette). It's practically the non-licenced Ridge Racer knockoff of itself.

Back when this was current, I was more interested in Ferrari. I still think it's one of their nicer cars and I like seeing them on the road on occasion. I don't like the the C6 headlights now and I didn't like them when they were 360 headlights. Making the background the same color as the body just looks weird to me.

I do have to commend the F360 on one thing. The interior.

I personally think it was a high point in modern Ferraris. Up to that point (including the F355) they all looked derivative of 1980s interiors with boxy pedestrian types of forms and massing. The F360 had just the right amount of organic curvature, but in a restrained way. The horizontal dash sans a vertical console gives the entire interior a light-weight feel. The simple but elegant instrument cluster has a big, but not overly styled tachometer right in front. Of course the 6 speed gated manual. The simple button-free steering wheel. After the 360, Ferrari has gone on a tech rampage and their current interiors (to me) are an atrocious mess. For a sports car, the 360 has close to an ideal interior. The only two I feel are comfortably better are the Mclaren F1 and Honda S2000 (which if you look closely are more similar than they are different)

Wait, the 355 is considered pretty and the 360 ugly? The 355 looks absolutely awful IMHO, especially the front lip that looks to be from a $50 Intergra body kit. The exterior looks bland and cheap.

The 360 was the first Ferrari since the 208 that actually looked appealing to me.

Cool, this is one of my dream cars back in the day plus this car for me its the definition of Exotic era NFS.

Do people find the 360 Spider to be more beautiful than the Modena?

I gave it uncool. The 355 was one of the best looking Ferrari, then they followed it with the worst looking Ferrari. It looks like a cheap plastic toy that got left next to the fire.

Not my favourite of the V8 Ferraris, but not my least favourite either (that would be the 430), a little plasticy looking in most factory paint jobs but a nice shape, and can't fault the underpinnings or performance so an easy Cool.

The Challenge Stradale is easily in my Top 10 of favourite cars, ever. But it's still a Ferrari.

Cooler than a 430 by a long shot, and is just about at modern classic status, but still is largely driven by dongs. Sounds fantastic.

Eh, going to have to give it a (low) Cool.

Cool but not sub-zero for me.
