Body Style: 2-door coupé
Engine: 4.3L 90-degree V8 (4,308 cc) Ferrari F136 Engine
Power: 490 hp
Torque: 342 ft-lbs
Weight: 1450 kg
Transmission: 7-speed dual-clutch automatic
Drivetrain: Mid-engine, rear-wheel drive
Additional Information: This one-off was built for the Japanese collector Junichiro Hiramatsu who is an admirer of Fioravanti's style. He especially liked the F100, an earlier Ferrari concept car by Fioravanti dating back to 1998. Hiramatsu asked Ferrari if they could build him a car like that and so they turned to Fioravanti.

This car was built under the "Portfolio" coach-building program at Ferrari. The design houses who have decided to become authorized Portfolio coachbuilders are Pininfarina, Zagato, and Fioravanti.

The body of SP1 (Special Project #1) is almost completely new, except for the greenhouse (A- B- and C-pillars, windscreen and side windows) which is part of the stressed chassis structure. The new body panels are made of carbon fiber. The skirts, roof, and rear bumper clearly show the material they're made of. The rear end of the SP1 is a bit higher and the air intakes are shaped by much sharper lines. The tail lights are taken from the 599 GTB. The nose doesn't look very different than the standard F430, because of the stock head lights, but Fioravanti stretched the nose a bit to make it look sleeker and lower. To match the stretched front end, Fioravanti had to apply some mascara and eye shadow around the stock head lights. The wheels are taken from a standard 430 Scuderia and the side mirrors are stock parts as well.

They somehow managed to make an F430 with a cheap, ugly as sin aftermarket bodykit, out of the factory.
Uncool.

Well if you like the style, then I guess it's cool to the owner.

The fact it's a one off has some cachet, but I don't think it's cool.

A meh, I feel.

Seriously uncool because of those 488-esque side vents. The rest of the car looks fine, however.

You know those racing games where they want to have a wide variety of real world cars, but only secured the rights to a handful of them? And they still wanted the other ones, so they tried to remodel them into expies and renamed them so that they're different enough for the manufacturers not to sue?

This Ferrari looks like one of those cars

Seriously Uncool.

Seriously uncool cause it gave way to the Burger King method of super car exotics, in the sense of have it your own way and create a coach built.

Rather than spend hundreds of thousands of dollars and just personalizing a normal 430 or even waiting for the more upper trim and personalizing that (something Ferrari has done for years). You have to stand out and commission a 1 off that most likely wont get driven, will be an investment piece more than an actual car and that's that.

Not all of them are horrible but most of them don't really need to exist.

also what lines in the bodywork are you people talking about, does image of the car it's based on need to be posted, to remind you that this is a far more bland mock up?

It may be bland, but I'm not sure that's a bad thing: the F430 is the ugliest post-2000 V8 berlinetta from the Prancing Horse anyway. Then again, a bland Ferrari does seem like a wasted opportunity. Sure, they haven't been pretty in a while, but "inoffensive" is not how you'd want to describe your one-off bespoke supercar. Rides too high in profile as well.

Still. Modern Ferrari + Modern supercar + one-off show queen = SU.

As an aside: this looked fantastic in GT5 painted the 512BB's Viola Dino.

You have to give it a Cool, just based on the fact it is a special project. Not everyone can have a company like Ferrari build them a bespoke car, so while the styling might not be to everyone's tastes, it's a cool car.
