The XKR-S (excluding the GT package) really is the best of both worlds; it manages to look sporty and exciting on the outside yet still retains the timeless and classy look of the second-gen XK. It's also more left-field and overlooked compared to other cars in it's performance realm. Would much prefer one of these over the F-Type SVR.

Pretty much this. High cool for me.
 
I do love me some big sporty GT cars. Having a supercharged V8 is also a big bonus too. Cool.

The XKR-S GT, however, turns a classy, sporty GT car to a "Track" car that is too heavy for it's own good, and that looks incredibly tacky. It doesn't effect the standard car's rating, but the additions that the package brings turn a cool car into a Seriously Uncool one.
 
The XK itself is pretty, but this track focused add-ons make it super tacky and hard to look at imo. Pretty uncool
 
Almost Subzero in my book. It's one of the best looking Jaguars of all time IMO.
 
Uncool. Its name has too many letters.

I also fail to see how the XKR-S and XKR-S GT can attain the same level of cool so should not be polled together, and that's not even mentioning the convertible version (which is a low cool.)

XKR-S GT is seriously uncool as it has too many bits stuck on it.
 
A grand tourer should be beautiful yet discreet. The XKR-S is none of those.

One of my favourite Jags of all time, but it doesn't have the class of the standard one so I can't imagine being cool, sadly.

I liked it quite a lot when it was a headline car in GT6. Its still a pretty good car to this day. I’d say this has aged better than most performance models of 2000’s GT cars.
 
The standard car is a nice looking GT/Coupe. The wings, skirts and splitters on the hotter version ruin it.
 
Was lucky enough to have seen all three versions especially a GT for car week

Also saw a red convertible in Grand Rapids.
 
It was cool until, it's Top Gear lap was compared to the GT-R. Still cool. nonetheless.
 
Meh. That front-end doesn't look unique. Somehow reminds me of the DB9 Aston.
