It's a car. It does the job. It's cheap, but it's not bargain basement - cheap with refinement.

I actually took a sandero taxi to get to someplace and.....yeah it's just some cheap european car and that's it.

What's the interior look like? Honestly, from the outside it doesn't look bad at all, looks nicer than the Micra at least. Also looks bigger too.

I need more info (ABS, A/C, price compared to other models, price in US dollars, etc) but from the OP it doesn't seem like a bad cheap/first/necessary car.

Cheap and honest. No pretentions, no frills. I think that makes it cool. It's not trying to be much of anything apart from a car.
 
Top Gear is the only reason this car is uncool for me, if they never would have mentioned it I think I could have justified a cool based on it being a back to basics car.

It would be meh if it weren't for Top Gear I guess. Now though, it's uncool.

It's uncoolness is partially my fault for being one of the TG fans that likes to reference the "Good News, it's the Dacia Sandero" gag everytime I see the car mentioned.
