Meh, it's nice but I much prefer the Century. This one looks a bit more generic, maybe? It looks like it could be a Lexus if the face were changed a bit. The Century looks like nothing else.

I do agree this would make a much better Avalon than the Avalon we get now.

It being RWD is great, and it is a good looking sedan, until you get to that front end. Yikes.

It isn't uncool because it is at least a bit more interesting than a Camry.

The look certainly has presence. Big sedans with big grilles I just associate with mafias and stuff like that, haha. Cool.

I just don't like that the wheels look a bit small on it.
 
I don't get people who think it looks awful. The front end is ridiculously smooth in my opinion. I recon with a paddle-shift gearbox, rear-wheel-drive, a 350hp V6 and some sporty bits, a TRD or Gazoo Racing version of the Crown could make an excellent rival to the Kia Stinger.

Really wish they made more of the Mark X GRMN and sold it in the US, its a perfect Stinger GT rival.
 
I don't like how they removed the Athlete version (the Sports Trim) but it's amazing that Toyota still make this in a age of SUVs and FWD sedans, there is still some purpose to this and it's exclusivity makes it low Cool.
