Some really hard fought close Racing in both GS & ST Class. Terrific.

ps : CAM there was an obvious glitch in your GS fastest lap, obviously a typo, no dramas though as it made no difference.

Congrats to all. 👍 Kudos to Driftking18594 for his 3rd place showing even with his abbreviated participation. Sneaky of PB not to submit, even after my empty challenges. I'm just happy to have all my parts. I suspect he could have sliced off something more valuable and smaller from my body if he had wished.

Glad to see such participation in events so close to GT4s send-off.

I guess pit strategy won through in this one again. I tried an initial run using SM/SS tyre combo, but it became clear that the soft rears wouldn't be able to be pushed to 11 laps to do a 2-stopper, so I started again with SMs all round.
By 10 laps the left rear was starting to glow, and I'd lost a good 3 - 4s off my usual 2'11.xxx pace but with patience I was able to coax another lap out of them and hence I saved a vital 25 - 30s.
I had a definite purple patch in the middle of the race though:
Lap 15 2'10.766
Lap 16 2'10.644
Lap 17 2'10.582
although I don't think I managed a 2'10.xxx after that at all!

Interesting. The little Mini kicked-butt in ST class, it looks like. I'll have to keep that in mind if the CTC is ever run again. GS however is pretty even. Four different cars in the top four spots. That tells me that no car really had an advantage over the others.

Pretty good results. Congrats on the winners.

Looks like GT4 will be the only game in town for just a little while longer. Lol.
